What is Boston Pickle Fair?
The Boston Pickle Fair is all about celebrating our favorite fermented things, pickles, Kimchi, Kraut, Veggies and whatever else tickles your fancy! Our hoedown style festival is a jam packed day filled with outdoor music, games, contests, vendors letting their brines shine, and so much more.
When and where is the fair?
The fair is Saturday, June 22nd at The Innovation and Design Building located on Drydock Ave in the Boston Seaport. The day is broken up into two sessions with separate tickets.
Morning Session: 10:30AM-1:30PM
Afternoon Session: 2:30-5:30PM
What's the dill with the Home Pickling Competition?
Think you’re a big dill? Put your your best brine forward for the Boston Pickle Fair home pickling competition to claim ultimate victory as Boston’s best pickler!
Last year, we had some amazing canned creations with the winner serving up some pickled watermelon rinds to our panel of judges including Christie Morrison from America’s Test Kitchen, Jeremy Ogusky of Boston Ferments, and food writer Drew Starr.

Please note: The home pickling competition will take place in the morning session only. Please make sure to purchase the correct ticket if you’re participating!
How much are tickets and what does it cover?
A limited supply of early bird tickets will be released on April 18 at 11AM. Early bird tickets are $15 and available while supplies last. General admission tickets will go on sale on Thursday, April 25 at 11AM and cost $20. This year, children under 5 years old may enter for FREE.
The ticket cost covers entrance and access to samples, live music, and games! Additional food and beverages will be available to purchase.
Is this event dog friendly?
Will vendors accept cash or card?
All vendors will accept credit card but it would be wise to bring some cash with you as there is no ATM on property!

Route #4 — North Station to South Station to Innovation and Design Building.
